The phrase – more plugins I use, more effective our SEO campaigns become – completely wrong. Another quote-more useful plugins I make use of, more results will appear- roughly close to reality. But in the real truth, less plugins we make use of, more skillful, less automated and strategically our SEO campaign turns out to be. I would like to present free search engine optimization tools for beginners:
WordPress SEO Plugin by Yoast
All in One SEO Pack Plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/ – Most famous SEO plugin, used by the largest number of marketers. Its effectiveness lies behind the simplicity – user-friendly, uncomplicated and can be totally changed. Even the person, not being aware of what is SEO, can fill the simple meta, keyword and title boxes. I strongly recommend this plugin.
All in One Webmaster - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-webmaster/ – I have chosen this software, because of its comfortability. You can integrate it with your blog, index on Bing and yahoo and track the performance.
EWWW Image Optimizer - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/ – Best tool for image optimization. It requires small space, never slows down the website speed. You can convert the pictures, make them smaller and load your website faster, than before.
Nofollow Case by Case - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nofollow-case-by-case/ – Simply remove rel=”nofollow” from you comment links .
Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/ – Redirect pages and posts to another posts or pages or external URL for SEO purposes.
SEO Auto Links & Related Posts – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/seo-alrp/ – Increase your navigation and website usability, by using related posts, when user finishes reading the post.
SEO Rank Reporter – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/seo-rank-reporter/ – Not so easy to find the proper ranking tool for keywords. It is one of the most flexible keyword-positioning tool, refreshing rankings every three days.
SEO Smart Links – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/seo-automatic-links/ – Probably the smartest tool, where you can automatically link keywords and targeting phrases in the articles, posts and comments.
WordPress SEO Plugin by Yoast - http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ - I have already written the simple review of this plugin. High class SEO software, working on the functionality and diversity level, but requires large space and probably more skills.
Broken Link checker - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/broken-link-checker/ – Avoid all broken links, by simply updating them – not specifically for SEO purposes, but still in need.
WP No Category Base – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-no-category-base/ – Simply clean you URL and remove category base from category permalinks.
Also there are various free search engine optimization tools especially in other areas, such as security, ratings, polls, social media, navigation etc… I will expand this topic in the next posts.
